The last memorable game at home for Mo Lowda and The Humble was quite exciting, with the team rallying from a 7-run deficit. Unfortunately, just as we were one run behind, the tarp was pulled out to cover the field. We will never know if our guys could have pulled it off. The disappointing end due to Mother Nature's intervention halted our hot streak. The management's decision to start the fireworks show at that moment was a good call, as people were beginning to leave. Witnessing fireworks and lightning together in the sky was truly incredible! The game had to be called off by the ump due to excessive lightning in the area.
The Isotopes park is a favorite destination that makes me feel like I'm in a big city. The only downside was that all the beer stands accepted only cash, and the ATM line was excessively long. More ATMs or accepting cards at the beer kiosks would make the experience smoother.
During the rain delay, it was a nice gesture by the food vendors to offer everything at half price. The music played during this time, all storm-related songs like "Purple Rain" and "Greased Lightning," added a humorous touch.
